i'm having a brunch tomorrow to launch a new salon with my girlfriends - where we'll start talking about quality of life stuff but also political issues, too.
it's important for our public officials to pay attention to stuff for us but it's even MORE important for women LIKE US to do what we can - write letters to newspapers, our elected officials, members of the senate judiciary com'tee.
this is a decision that will affect all women - and children, and families - in this country. we can't sit this one out.
but i totally hear you. but we ARE empowered. we can fight losing the supreme court.

i'm scared down to my bones. i cannot imagine what is coming down the pike, because every time i try, i almost give myself an asthma attack.
oh my lord, i've never felt so unempowered. or DISempowered.
