across the street, my neighbor (one of the arty boys) sits naked at his computer. this is the advantage of living on the third floor. in my email inbox there is a message from B-, also naked, wanting to know what my summer plans are.
i'm glad i'm going to windsor this weekend.
i get to avoid a difficult conversation.

Ah ha. Going to Windsor means going through Detroit. Any chance you'd be dropping by o' Ann Arbor? (shudder) that was 10 years ago--can you imagine?
I miss living in cities where sitting naked at your computer in the window is no big deal.
i, too, love sitting at my computer only wearing the blue light from the laptop screen. it's so...naughty.
even if i'm just reading the paper.
