IIRC, the rally was called off last minute, but fears were of a huge conflict.
I can't imagine Latinos — neither aliens nor citizens — putting up with any of that malarkey from any such group, no matter what their name or kostumes.
I can see the white establishment saying "yeah, whatever," then cracking another beer.

the minutemen coming to the midwest has rallied the latino population here in chicago. the spanish-language newspapers are all over it.
it's amazing how, more and more, our country is starting to resemble an early 19th century outpost.
