why? because it's late, i'm about to go to bed, and in case the guy on whose blog i posted a snarky comment about why privatizing social security is bad for brown people stops by.

While I may be branded a fool for ignoring difficult, exigent (yes, I had to look that word up) situations, I still cannot shake the belief that the solution to the problem of biased distribution of resources lies not in governmental remanagement, but in other, deeper causes.
Fighting the privitization of Social Security and the devastation of Medicare is a noble and worthy cause, but I feel that calling the situation worse for blacks than for whites without simultaneously addressing the causes of that difference is perilous.
