I'm sure they're doing that to whip you into a frenzy just in time for the season 3 broadcasts starting in October.

Ding, you know you can download every episode on iTunes and watch them all on your computer, right?

but i don't wanna be hip and modern! i wanna get the dvds so i can watch them all in one weekend!

(whine whine. whine whine.)

I'll be busy re-watching Dr. Who between now and then. What can I say? The Sci-Fi marketing plan has gotten its hooks into me.

Besides, I'm not thrilled with 2.5's storyline, and would much rather save re-watching the Greek tragedy until it is closer to being resolved. (Waaaait, these Greek tragedies don't ever get resolved, do they? I'm in for an unpleasant season 3 surprise.)

But my condolences to you. Friends of mine in our knitting group (I know) have been passing around some videotaped copies to tide them over. You might ask around?

i just keep poring over the episode descriptions over and over again, like a crazy person.

No one is accusing you of being hip and modern.

I remember one time you and asked me what the internet was good for, anyway; "what is WRONG with going to the library?"

And when you and db confronted me about email; "what is WRONG with writing a letter?!" you hissed through your clenched jaw.

Two months later, you were giggling about how much you loved email; you could make excuses to profs without having to face them.

Don't worry, you'll have your BSG soon enough. In September.

Some of us can't download stuff from iTunes, Mr. Snooty American.

Did I just got called Mr. Snooty American?

(notice my redundant past tense markers, indicative of a 2nd language learner struggling with the difficult WH-front question contruction.)

yes, mr. snooty american, living in seattle where all things technologically forward come from.

i wouldn't know how to download an itune if steve jobs came to my apartment and showed me.

and i'm horribly paranoid about having someone hack into our wireless network and steal my information. i'm practically a luddite.

Does your wireless network have a password on it?

You must not have itunes. iTunes is an Apple product; all you have to do is click.

You know how to click, don't you?

Click!

yes, my wireless network has a password.
but hackers are clever!

i saw it on Numbers...the russian mafia will steal my identity and then my life will be ruined. iTunes will just have to take over the world without me.

"We just DON'T see the POINT of email!" (scowling). "What is WRONG with WRITING A LETTER?"

Hey geriasaurus, your betamax is blinking 12.
