look out iron john: the Brawny Academy

maybe i was tired, or bored, but i watched all 4 episodes and laughed my ass off.

Brawny Academy

(who cares that it's a total marketing ploy? it's men in the woods with the Brawny Man, learning to be 'sensitive'! snort.)

mistake made- this is for the second post in your blog. I was so busy reading that, that I forgot I'd had this window opened. Please delete.

Thanks!

and i'm sorry for losing my temper below. i'm under some emotional duress right now, but, really, Anonymous. did you read that original post? the post i linked to?

i don't think you did; her post wasn't about guilt but about how those who enjoy racial privilege need to examine the social structures that enable that privilege. and if one is truly honest about living a life that goes against the institutionalized racisms surrounding all of us, brown and not brown, then that means there's some work that needs to be done. and your reaction, rather than exerting your non-'guilt' only emphasized it.

read her post again, dude. (and don't take it out on me! it's a white woman pointing the finger at you!)
